The Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are the natural setting for this lift, and they make every ride a scenic one. The view from the cabin changes as you climb: from the meadows and conifer woods around the valley station, it gradually opens onto the rock faces and glaciers that dominate the skyline.
In winter snow covers everything, and on clear days the white peaks stand out sharply against the blue sky.
