The Olympic venues

Events took place in six locations across four areas: Lombardy, Veneto and the autonomous provinces of Trento and Bolzano.

The alpine skiing races in Bormio and Cortina and the biathlon in Anterselva were the most sought after.

Hospitality packages

For the most popular events, many seats were reserved for official IOC packages, and individual tickets for the finals sold out quickly.

Skiing the Olympic slopes

The race slopes are open to the public during the winter season: the Stelvio in Bormio, the Olimpia delle Tofane in Cortina and the Livigno snow parks.

Ahead of the Games, many host resorts renewed their lifts and slopes, with new cable cars and modernised mountain huts. The resort pages list the updated lifts.
