9 km of downhill slopes but, above all, 80 km of cross-country trails in the heart of Gran Paradiso National Park. Cogne is Italy's cross-country capital. The Prati di Sant'Orso are the largest alpine meadow in Europe. Ibex graze a few metres from the paths.
