10 km of slopes from 1,800 m to 2,700 m on the north side of Mount Etna, Europe's highest active volcano (3,357 m). Skiing on lava with views of the Ionian Sea. A unique lunar landscape. The 2002 lava flow destroyed the resort, which has since been rebuilt and modernised.
