Italy ski passes 2026/27: when to buy and how to save

Online discounts, dynamic pricing and family costs: a practical way to compare 2026/27 ski passes in Italy without mixing up old and new prices.

The right time to buy depends on three things: how certain your dates are, the rules of the offer and the total cost for your group. Buying early does not always save money: a cheap fare that does not fit your trip can end up costing more than a flexible ticket.

We read the official price lists of the ski areas we follow. The price column shows the adult day pass at the ticket office, from the cheapest period to the most expensive: which one you pay depends on your dates.

As of 22 September 2026, the 2026/27 prices for Courmayeur, Roccaraso, Civetta and San Martino di Castrozza have not yet been published. The official websites still show the 2025/26 prices, which our pages label with their season.

Monterosa Ski has announced a dynamic day pass for 2026/27 costing €40 to €71 (source), but not yet the full price list. 3 Cime Dolomiti has so far published only its 2026/27 season pass: adults pay €800 in the pre-sale until 8 November 2026, €900 from 13 November to 24 December and €990 from 25 December 2026 (source). For La Thuile, the Via Lattea and the other Dolomites ski areas, we could not read the 2026/27 price list on the official source, so we give no figures.

Paganella: multi-day passesDynamic online pricing announced from mid-October for 2026/27Compare the quote for your own dates once it is available; do not guess the saving today

A price list on a resort’s website is not necessarily the 2026/27 one. Check the season printed on the document and the dates it covers. We do not compare prices from different winters, and we do not treat an incomplete table as a quote.

Work out the saving on the same product

A purely mathematical example, not a real price: if the comparable total is €400 and a 5% discount applies to all of it, you pay €380 and save €20. Then add any cards, supplements or separate services. A €20 saving on the ski pass can easily be wiped out by a more expensive hotel night, so compare the whole holiday.

Families: have everyone’s date of birth ready

Before you compare, note each person’s date of birth, the days you will actually ski and the number of paying adults. A free pass for a child that depends on a parent buying one is not the same as free skiing for every child. Junior and child categories can differ between ski areas and between seasons.

When it makes sense to wait

If your travel dates are not fixed, or the season’s price list is not out yet, gather the terms first. If your dates are fixed, compare the online price with the same product at the ticket office, check the deadlines and keep your order summary. Do not assume you can get a refund because an offer promises ‘flexibility’: what counts is the seller’s contract.

The Roccaraso ski pass page separates past prices from the check on the new season. In our ski pass pages, each ski area’s page says which season its prices refer to. If you are planning a trip without skiing, see the autumn cable car calendar: a sightseeing ticket for non-skiers is not the same as a ski pass.

The price lists in the first table were read on 22 September 2026 and the terms in the second on 13 September 2026; all sources are linked. This guide explains a way to compare prices: it does not guarantee the lowest price and does not replace a quote for your dates. The cover is an archive photo of Cervinia.
